Pursuit Wrestling: OAC Junior High State 2026

March 21–22, we took nearly 50 wrestlers—both boys and girls—to Youngstown to compete against the best junior high wrestlers in Ohio.

Our boys team made history, bringing home our first-ever Team State Championship with an incredible performance that included 9 state placers.

On the girls side, we continued to show our strength and growth, finishing as Team State Runner-Up with 7 state placers, including three individual state champions: Kaitlin Taylor, Avery Ogles, and Makayla Brooks.

We are beyond proud of the effort, toughness, and commitment shown by every athlete who stepped on the mat. This was a huge weekend for our program and a testament to the culture we’re building at Pursuit Wrestling.
