Andrew wrestled for Trent Brooks at Bishop Ready High school from 2015-2019 where he was a 2-time district runner up and state qualifier. Andrew then wrestled for Shane Brown at the University of Akron from 2019-2023 where he was a NCWA National runner-up and 2-time All-American.
